We were looking and bidding now since 2008. We got few offers accepted, but with wired conditions that we could not accept. One of the conditions was to allow renters to stay 15 days after the closing! Ridicules.
Well, finally the house we got was in our neighborhood unoccupied and owned by the bank. Big back yard, 3 bedrooms and two bath house with foundation and two cars garage. I loved it, it was perfect for us and only cosmetic repairs needs to be done. As usual our FHA offer was declined as owners accept ONLY pre-approval with Home Path loan. Our realtor Filia Franco found a lender Linda LaGrasso who specializes in that type of loan. Once our offer was accepted for $430K ($40K less then listed) everything went very fast!
